"Now I'll sing you my conclusion simply titled The Whore Fleet"

 

Papa's Cabaret was a Piece of Music Theatre incorporating song, dance, puppetry and storytelling by Flotte de Putain; a company made up of Tamsin Stone, Joseph Sims, Jenny Tripp, Natalie Goodacre, James Hill, and Charlotte Allison. Set in a dark eerie cabaret bar run by Papa, a sadistic drag queen, it told the story of how each performer found themselves stuck in the cabaret and followed their progress as they attempted to escape Papa's evil grasp and make a new life for themselves.

 

 “The piece was fast paced, with strong characters, great ideas and an imaginative use of set and costumes. As a group, you consistently collaborated effectively and demonstrated a strong sense of ensemble. Throughout, the piece identified and responded imaginatively and proactively to the needs and different individual strengths of the group. The musicianship was of a particularly high standard and really added to the overall performance” (Ingleheart, 2012).
